I have problem with my Fenera 2100 whole flash 25p64 is erased by accident.
Can someone provide me with a whole image of fonera 2100 or image of the "Redboot" and "Redboot Config" from a functional router?.

Are you sure? Unless you pull out to erase the flash chip, how did you manage to erase the whole flash?

Just simply by spi programer. I wanted to create back up copy of flash and instead of read I presed erase by mistake .

hi,

I put a copy of the needed flashpartitions of my fonera 2100A at http://tinyurl.com/lmw4fm

I added mtd0, 4, 5, 6, which should be enough to get redboot up and running again. If you need the exact flashlayout I have to connect the serialconsole, but I think you will find the memory-addresses in the wiki.

root@OpenWrt:/tmp# cat /proc/mtd
dev:    size   erasesize  name
mtd0: 00030000 00010000 "RedBoot"
mtd1: 000b0000 00010000 "vmlinux.bin.l7"
mtd2: 00700000 00010000 "rootfs"
mtd3: 005c0000 00010000 "rootfs_data"
mtd4: 0000f000 00010000 "FIS directory"
mtd5: 00001000 00010000 "RedBoot config"
mtd6: 00010000 00010000 "boardconfig"

I would like to hear from you, if you are sucessful with your spi-programmer (which one are you using? and which software?)
I have also a bricked fonera at home. I tried to use mtd to flash from the foneras originalsystem (which uses another partion layout), but my kernelimage was too big, so I overwrote Redbootconfig and boardconfig.

Hi everyone.
I have problem with my Fonera 2100ABC. Whole flash ST25p64 has been erased by accident. I wanted to create copy of the flash and instead of clicking on read I pressed erase by mistake. Now I need someone who can use SPI Flasher and cable (please find attached picture and drafts of this cable in SPI Flash for FON.zip) on working fonera 2100 with original FON, OPENWRT or DDWRT to read memory and send it me if possible so I could flashing my Fonera from the beginning. I will appreciate your help a lot.
It will also help to everyone else who has got problems with re-flashing of their own Foneras.

I want to show you how I have used SPI Flasher in order to read the memory.

If there is a way to dump the flash using a serial-console cable and/or the telnet 192.168.1.254 9000 approach, I will be more than happy to help. Soldering wires on a flash chip isn't an option for me, unfortunately.

The discussion might have continued from here.
