Hey folks,

I'm new to Kamikaze, so please be patient wink

I'm trying to avoid having to use a separate switch for the following setup:

I have the incoming cable signal from my ISP, which is plugged into an Aris modem.

From this modem, normally, you'd hang a switch, and from there:
* pc's - which go in to (internet) ip range X
* digital tv setop boxes, which go into ip range Y

The ISP needs to see the MAC address of the digital TV box, so it can get it's correct IP

What i'm trying to do is configure one of the LAN switch ports to be a slave of the WAN port, so that:

* The WAN port gets the internet IP assigned
* whatever is plugged into the WAN-slave port gets the IP address assigned based on whatever their MAC address is (in this case, I'd plug the TV box into the slave port)

Does anyone have a clue how I could best solve this?

I've been trying to get vlans to work, but everytime I try to configure this the WRT150n becomes completely unresponsive and needs to be reset (read: firstboot && sync) before I can get back on it.

Kind regards
