Topic: Gpio support for linksys ag241v2 exist ? no /dev/gpio device

hello,

I have de gpio_dev module and no gpio device is created and do error show, why ?
is no support for gpio for this router ?

Re: Gpio support for linksys ag241v2 exist ? no /dev/gpio device

some evolution

i try to create the device according with the proc devices.

root@OpenWrt:/# cat /proc/devices
Character devices:
  1 mem
  4 ttyS
  5 /dev/tty
  5 /dev/console
  5 /dev/ptmx
10 misc
13 input
90 mtd
108 ppp
128 ptm
136 pts
153 spi
254 ar7_gpio

so i try:

root@OpenWrt:/# mknod /dev/gpio c 254 0

the device was created and corrected detected by the gpioctl

root@OpenWrt:/# gpioctl get 1
using gpio pin 1
Pin 1 is HIGH

root@OpenWrt:/# gpioctl clear 1
using gpio pin 1
Pin 1 is HIGH

but seams that can't not change the status of the gpio.

some one have any clue to help me with this?

Re: Gpio support for linksys ag241v2 exist ? no /dev/gpio device

again some evolution:

doing this:

mkdir /dev/gpio
for i in `seq 0 31`; do mknod /dev/gpio/gpio$i c 254 $i; done

now have 31 GPIO's
the 5 6 8 is for controling the power led, form red to green, or blinking status

this stop the power led blink
echo none > /sys/class/leds/status/trigger

this put the power led gren and stable
echo 1 > /dev/gpio/gpio4
