Topic: WRTG3G with UMTS-Card Option GEO301

i searched a lot to find the right way to do. I'm using a WRTG3G-2.4-squashfs.bin Firmware with my UMTS CARD. Actually i think the card is not supported yet i tried to fix it anyway.
I installed all steps descibed on http://josefsson.org/grisslan/internet.html. Also i changed the /etc/modules.d/60-usb-serial file and put in the Vendor ID from my card like that.

usbserial vendor=0xaf0 product=0x7001


But when i start ifup wan it comes:

ifconfig: SIOCGIFFLAGS: No such device
Can't open device ppp0.
wan(3g): Failed to set the PIN code.

My Card is an Option Model: GEO301

is it possible to make this run ?

Your vid/pid is  0xaf0/0x7011  (not 0x7001) . Haven't you made a mistake ?
