Topic: OpenWrt Timeout waiting for PADO packets

The content of this topic has been archived on 25 Apr 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

I am running KAMIKAZE (bleeding edge, r13003) on Netgear DG834gv2. The problem is that the PPP0 interface is not appearing on the ifconfig. My ISP uses PPPoE to connect.

Logread says:

Anyone......... ?

Jow thanks for reply

I have tried to clone to clone mac address but its of no help. I have tried googling about this issue but it is not of much help.

Hi,

I'm also facing same problem...

any progress on this issue?

Regards,
Sharad.

tn7dsl_set_modulation : Setting mode to 0x0

Did you make sure to set your modulation variable in ADAM2?

Could be the same problem as in this thread.  Please report back if it is.

tn7dsl_set_modulation : Setting mode to 0x0

I'm not pretty sure of this tn7dsl_set_modulation.

I'm running Kamikaze7.09 on Fonera.

my problem is little different,
PPPoE link is establised on some reboots, while its not establised in others.

I have given details in this ticket.
http://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=18987

Could you plz help me out to solve this

Thanks,
Sharad.

If could be bad username/passeword issue or hammering of pppoe which ISPs then block.

Really nice explanations is given here:
http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r262548 … uter-s-log

UPDATE: my issue was something on ISP side, after they fixed it I'm not geting PADO messages any more.
