Topic: Error using Dansguardian on WRT54GL

Hello All,

I only saw two posts here on my problem and neither helped me solve. I'm trying to use TinyProxy and Dansguardian on my WRT54GL with Kamikaze (7.09). I successfully installed (and am able to use) TinyProxy. I also installed Dansguardian using the packetprotector package at http://packetprotector.org/download/kam … mipsel.ipk. But whenever I start Dansguardian, I get the following error:

I've noticed on another thread that someone had a similar issue that was related to memory, but I'm not receiving the memory error that that person was.

Any idea's?

I have never used dansguardian...  Do you have a dansguardianf1.conf file?  That's what it's having trouble with.

That is my biggest fear. I know I don't have much with the WRT54GL (Only 16 MB) but none of the stores in my area had a version 1-2 WRT54GS... only version 7.

Here's the weird part though, I had top reporting memory usage every 1 second and it never got below 500kb free, even while trying to run dansguardian. I know that's not very much, but I'd prefer to use content filtering rather than a proxy banlist.
