I recently purchased the Zyxel NWA50AX Pro and trying to access the serial logs.
From https://openwrt.org/toh/zyxel/nwa50ax_pro#serial the ports should be The following (I did not connect VCC as instructed):
1 - VCC
2 - TX
3 - RX
4 - GND
However I was getting garbled outputs in my terminal, I switched RX and TX and result is still the same.
Then I tried checking the voltages as per https://openwrt.org/docs/techref/hardware/port.serial#voltmeter to see if anything has been interchanged.
What I found is the supposed VCC and TX pins are 0v, And RX and GND are reading 0v.
If I check voltages to GND (4), the expectation is 1,2,3 all give 3.3v, but in my case, Pins 1 & 2 (VCC,TX) give 3.3v and pin 3 gives me 0v.
Did something physically change in the newer purchases of this AP?
