ZyXEL NWA50AX Pro - Checking "Current Image"

Hi all...somewhat of a rusty command line guy here.

Want to confirm the "slot" used currently on the device. Reading the wiki, I need to dump the diagnostics, which is in tar.bz2 format. In order to extract that file, and the grep for the image, is it just a matter of my using something like Putty (I'm on Windows) to telnet onto the AP via its IP address, and then running the "tar" command with the correct switches. And the tar command is already there (can't remember if "tar" is there; but I do remember that grep is, when I set up my NanoPi R4S about two years ago).

Is this correct (I know, my mother always told me there was never a dumb question, but I can understand if you think it is)?

TIA...Eric

Figured it out. Turns out that the diagnostic dump was actually output to my win11 laptop, so I was able to use the built in to unzip and check.

Now installed openWRT on this AP, working like a charm.
