I have a ZyXEL NBG6817 and a NETGEAR Nighthawk X4S R7800.
Which one would you use and which one would keep as backup? The Zyxel is smaller. That is the main difference I see.
Functionally and in terms of performance both are equivalent, the r7800 has a slightly better thermal design (running cooler) though.
Maybe there is an important difference, see.
If I didn't notice this problem with Zyxel, doesn't mean, it doesn't exist with the Zyxel. But both were setup the same way.
Not very likely (as both have the same wireless hardware), but anything is possible.
