I just noticed that on master builds were not constantly failing sometime after the split (for a while some archs couldn't handle complex packages). So I am not sure if the fixes are in 25.12 or not. Also it's not guaranteed to resolve this issue, but there also have been a great many realtek 8-something series updates in openwrt master over the past month or so.
I had just updated to SNAPSHOT r33284-57bf713ef7, but unfortunately still see the same error in the log ![]()
daemon.warn: zabbix_agentd[2277]: failed to accept an incoming connection: from 192.168.11.29: TLS handshake set result code to 6:: TLS read warning alert "close notify"
edit:
I just noticed that the Zabbix server seems to be able to fetch some metrics now, though the OpenWrt log continues to show the error.
I recall that at some point I had this behaviour also with 24.10.x for some time before failing and sometimes coming back to this behaviour.
Sorry to hear that. Since it is device specific you might want to ask on the development mailing list. If you have the means to test other OpenSSL-based applications that use a PSK, it would help. OpenVPN seems the best bet for being a robust test, although it is not using TCP, so if it is a protocol-specific bug (some kind of offloading issue in the network hardware?) it might not show the same issue.
Maybe StartAgents=3
