Xioami 4a R4AC global version reboot loop after install

Hey.
I followed this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLbkce-M2nE

I tried like 10 times, doing nothing wrong just following the guide for my router version

correct firmware I try to install but im in loop of bricking/debricking..

When I flash openwrt the final step, it reboots continuous I can see on terminal it says rebooting when I check the router I can see rebooting process once orange light gets turn on, then blue one, then blue one disappears, then orange one disappears. Loop like that.

What am I doing wrong? Thank you so much fellow openwrt enjoyers.

This router has issues based on a search in OpenWrt.

search "Xiaomi Mi Router 4A (R4AC)", lots of bricked lots of answers.

if 4a gigabit version has less issues I would refund my router for 4a gigabit then.
seems legit plan

I have seen this router, almost, everyday.
I would not buy it but that is just my opinion.

If you can get a refund, I would.

do you have the english version of that routers firmware? I'm only finding chinese firmwares ill debrick it flashing english version so I can refund with no problems

original firmware when I got router was english now it's chinese

The hardware page provides this .

But the device page does not have a link to the oem firmware.

I'd read the forum to reconcile this.

oh I was talking about stock firmware

The first link is advertised as the oem firmware.

The second link is just details for your router.

I'd read the page and then some threads: getting it back to oem may not be easy.

Most probably you have a v2 edition of this router.

I managed to make it work with the firmware WereCatf compiled explicitly for the router.

You can find the thread and post here: Xiaomi 4a R4ACV2 new version / bricked - #11 by WereCatf
