Xiaomi Router 3 Pro. 5 GHz channels are not switched.

5 GHz channels are not switched.
Channel 36 only.
If switch above channel 40, 5GHz interface stops working.
Tested on versions 19.07 and 21.02.
Is it just me or is it global?

Keep in mind that your router needs to passively listen for radar events for at least 60s, before it is allowed to use a DFS channel. Make sure to wait ling enough, before declaring it broken.

The 5 GHz interface GENERALLY stops working.
When I return to channel 36, everything is ok.

+1 here having the same problem

Ok Let me answer my problem. Seems it didn't took long to find out. You need 1st to select the country you are living so the system will retrieve the "Allowed" 5G channels of your country. Seems they are called DFS bands and each country allows some of them for home usage.

Here you can have some info about it. https://www.lairdconnect.com/support/faqs/what-channels-are-supported-both-24-ghz-and-5ghz-band-most-countries.

Of course you can "trick" the country selection to open more channels but this means you go against your country laws.
