Xiaomi mi wifi 3 support

You're going to have to use the miwifi.bin method from a USB drive to go back to stock. In my case, miwifi.bin only took, once rebooted, and after attempting to flash the kernel through tftp.

is there a support for a pocketwifi connected thru usb slot in xiaomi..
USB WAN i mean!!! or could i connect a smartphone then used a USB TETHERING
is it already supported?

sorry for bad english

this is not my firmware. Here is no reason to brick router, if keep setting is not checked

Try option 2. You'll need a tftp server on your PC. Read my previous posts on this topic.

build: NATCAP 3.0.0_build201803222222 Beaver r6547-0a883fe / LuCI Master (git-18.078.78845-a71ef99)
uptime: 1d 7h 59m 56s

issue: 2.4 Ghz AP unusable.

symptom: previously working Android device now quickly loops through: "Authenticating...", "connecting...", "connected", "connected no internet", "disconnected".

workaround: reboot router.

what tool that you use, cuase i using tftp gui not working
please tell me the detail

I used the app here

i think we have same problem that until now i can fix it
can you give me the "root_ulmage" file

I recommend that you try this:

On your USB stick[1], which goes into the router, put miwifi.bin[2].
Then, on the router, select option 2 (TFTP), transfer kernel1.bin[3], which should be hosted on your PC (using app tftp32... put .bin in same folder).

Once the kernel1.bin file is retrieved from the PC by the router, it will try flashing it, which results in some sort of corruption. Upon rebooting your router, press the reset button, and the miwifi.bin on the USB should now be used by the router to reflash itself to stock.

please tell me what IP static configuration on your pc

When you use option 2 (TFTP), it asks you to provide three things:

  1. the router ip (chose something like 192.168.1.2)
  2. the server (pc) ip (192.168.1.1)
  3. the file name to retrieve from the server (kernel1.bin)

Make sure that your pc's static IP is set to 192.168.1.1 during this.

thanks raz123

i will try it

Hi,
I just got an account to thank you for your work and making this device a usable piece (it has nice hardware but crappy software).
I'm using ptpt52's rom since January. However, it seems getting more and more unstable with every version. I'm thinking about downgrading. Is that possible?

Wifi is dying regularly, but since last week, the device completely freezes. Have to reboot it 2-3 times a day. Log is filled with:

Tell me, if I can help you somehow.

I have come to the same conclusion and this, after trying all latest available builds, including Padavan. The last stable Lede/openwrt build for me was from @Eddiecz's 1.6 branch.

While I still have a copy of that build, it lacks QoS. I'm thinking that I will inevitably have to compile my own to mimic that branch.

I got a log just before the device crashed. I'm no expert, but it seems to me like a memory problem.
