Xiaomi Mi Router 4A Gigabit Edition (R4AG/R4A Gigabit) -- fully supported and flashable with OpenWRTInvasion

Thank you. I'll flash it and try to log on. Is it different than you shared before?

	option ssid 'Vodafone_5G-02738'

Wow, i do still get the odd disconect every 20mins or so randomly but nowhere near as constant/regular as you! Is it worth trying to increase the station inactivity limit? (Even though it should already be disabled but seems like it isnt)

I have the impression that I have the same settings as you based on the screenshot you quoted above.
Can you suggest me another setting?

I'm just testing this myself, I hadn't realised that I was still getting disconnects so have just changed this:
(I can't see how this would help because it should be dissabled but clearly we are still getting drops due to inactivity timer?)

I'm still experiencing the same problem. Changes in settings do not seem to fix the issue :frowning:

Try setting your station inactivity limit to a high number e.g 999999999. I'm just testing now and have seen no deauths for about 30 mins now

Yea, did it when i saw from your screenshot. I'm testing too right now. :crossed_fingers:

@arutharen @galotzas, as far as my testing is going that seems to have cured the deauths for me (hopefully for you!). Reading the doc I assume this will have a slight energy-saving hit perhaps performance if you had lots of devices moving in and out of range but i'm ok with that. I don't claim to know why it works fully but looks to do the job!

Can anyone get this downloaded and upload somewhere else.Link:4pda.ru/forum/dl/post/19802569/MI-R3Gv2_3.4.3.9L-101-9794026_ubootstock.zip.
For me it says Error 404.It would be a help if anyone does so.And Thanks @Zorro for the last one. This's a newer version actually....

So far so good for me. I'm gonna post after 1 full day.

I appologise if this comes across a negative but:

  1. I'm not going to download something of a random forum and repost it with no verification that it is safe to do so.
  2. If you cant download it chances are no one else can or you are just trying to get us to click a link that could be malicious.
  3. Repeatedly asking isn't helping your cause.

Unfortunately, it happened again for me. Another Android based device lost it's service.

Okay, I changed it too and I'll be back with the results after 24 hours.

Thanks

------------EDIT----------------

With 9999999 things got even worse but when I tried 0 I saw "some" progress. Only one device (smart-tv) did it

	option max_inactivity '0'
	option wpa_group_rekey '0'

Maybe we have some progress with the new version from @Zorro
