Xiaomi Ax3600 install openwrt after resizing filesystem

Hello, I want to install open wrt on this router, but some time ago, I followed this guide to increase the filesystem size:

Rootfs and rootfs_1 are on different mtd numbers instead of mtd12 and mtd13.

Besides that, will it be safe to flash openwrt?

(I know I will have to change mtd12/mtd13 to mtd4/mtd5, if I recall correctly, when following the instructions to flash it)

I wouldn't attempt it ....

Thanks for the answer.

I thought that it wouldn't be a problem, because of the routers wiki stating this about partitions:

    1. Additionally, the stock partitioning assumes a ~35M size for each of the `rootfs` MTD partitions and ~30M for the `overlay` MTD partition. Even with that, the mounted `/overlay` partition only has a size of 15M.
    2. OpenWrt partitioning modifies this, allowing the use of all available space, so it is no longer a problem. This partitioning will be reverted when recovering the router to the OEM firmware.

But I guess I won't flash until someone can confirm it's safe.

Get it back into factory state, with the original partitioning, go on from there. OpenWrt hardcodes the mtd partitioning, and if that doesn't match expectations, it'll be bricked for good.

Reflashing firmware from web interface should be safe?

i did it once with the original MiWIFI Repair Tool from xiaomi and also via tftp. You can find instructions in the wiki. https://openwrt.org/toh/xiaomi/ax3600?s[]=xiaomi&s[]=ax3600#miwifi_repair_tool_windows

And then use the instructions how to flash openwrt.
