Xiaomi AX3600: ath11k driver crash ath11k hal rx sw mon ring_buf_paddr_get

Uograded to recent snapshot :+1:

Yeah, I guess it's worth mentioning that current snapshot is fixed and because of new firmware the whole world is different  (e.g. all wifi related bugs could be gone - or not)

I still got some with the recent snapshot

[93195.841598] ath11k c000000.wifi: failed to flush transmit queue, data pkts pending 1
[101110.641118] ath11k c000000.wifi: failed to flush transmit queue, data pkts pending 1
[104323.921229] ath11k c000000.wifi: failed to flush transmit queue, data pkts pending 2
[104398.081236] ath11k c000000.wifi: failed to flush transmit queue, data pkts pending 1
[137766.020103] ath11k c000000.wifi: failed to flush transmit queue, data pkts pending 1

Guys can you confirm it's 2.9 and you have the failed to flush?

All correct for me in OpenWrt SNAPSHOT version r22557-69812bf8ed / LuCI Master git-23.093.56957-2145121.

During 24 hours, I had just one event logged:

Apr 11 13:05:10 kernel: [46149.465321] ath11k c000000.wifi: failed to flush transmit queue, data pkts pending 2

I'm on r22537-32f134fbdf

Hm, I unfortunately just now had the second crash of the whole router in 48h, now with r22555+1 (that is with updated reg db, both crashes have been after the fw2.9 commit). No network traffic anymore, no switch traffic, LEDs still blink. As I don't have a serial console, not even a 1,8V adapter, I have no way of finding out what's going on.
I currently have a VLAN active and noticed first hangup immediately after I set up the vlan. Should I post this to another thread?

(Edit: I feel so stupid again, Wifi was still on, I should have connected with static IP via Wifi... will do next time)

Yes, failed to flush on OpenWrt SNAPSHOT r22537-32f134fbdf / LuCI Master git-23.093.56957-2145121 that includes the 2.9

Am i right and flush issue come back at SNAPSHOT (r22557-69812bf8ed)?

As i see not everyone have this issue.

Today, I saw this error on OpenWrt SNAPSHOT version r22557-69812bf8ed / LuCI Master git-23.093.56957-2145121

[68554.314535] ath11k c000000.wifi: failed to flush transmit queue, data pkts pending 1
[68627.358880] ath11k c000000.wifi: failed to flush transmit queue, data pkts pending 2
[68730.325043] ath11k c000000.wifi: failed to flush transmit queue, data pkts pending 1
[83661.611288] ath11k c000000.wifi: failed to flush transmit queue, data pkts pending 1

I'm on r22537-32f134fbdf

Every day ca. 1 event:

Thu Apr 13 12:37:30 2023 kern.warn kernel: [217289.511836] ath11k c000000.wifi: failed to flush transmit queue, data pkts pending 1

uptime: 3d 0h 40m 2s

Now upgrading to: r22565-877ec78e23 ( 22 hours ago Ian Chang mvebu: puzzle-mcu: add mcu write retry function - https://git.openwrt.org/?p=openwrt/openwrt.git;a=shortlog)

for what its worth i have 2 ath11k devices, and using a very recent snapshot (with the 2.9 firmware), they both exhibit the failed to flush issue.

although, from what i can tell it doesn't seam to affect anything? i have not observed any connection loss at least on my mobile / laptop devices.

Can you compile a version with those two patches removed and see if the problem persists?
