Xiaomi AX3200 LED configuration

How to configure the network LED indicator on the Xiaomi AX3200 router with PPPoE connection to behave like it does with the stock firmware?

Blue when an internet connection from the provider is available.
Amber when there is no internet connection from the provider.

Configure the LED in question with trigger netdev on the pppoe-wan device, trigger mode "link on" (and if you want blinkenlights, RX and TX). It should light up when there is a pppoe connection.

That one would require a tiny bit of custom scripting. Is it necessary, though? Doesn't the absence of the blue LED already indicate that there's no connection?

It can be done via LuCI, not necessary to use SSH for that, right?

Are you sure there will be the absence of the blue LED when there's no connection from provider?

Right, under System > LED Configuration

Yup. What would be the point otherwise?

Tunnel interface: pppoe wan
or
Switch port:wan
should be used for that?

You'll want the "pppoe-wan" device. That's the one with the actual pppoe connection.
