I want to change content of mtd2 partition (factory partition). for example I need add Serial number or the date of manufacture of the device into the factory partiotion, but when I try to write on this parrtion i can't access and I get error message that you have not permission, this is while I have permission to read the bytes of this partition, for example, I can find the MAC address in this partition, but I cannot change it. I use openwrt 19.07.10.
is outdated, you should upgrade.
as for the actual problem, use insmod mtd-rw.ko i_want_a_brick=1
