WPA3 when upgrading from 22.03.4 to 23.05.2

I am on OpenWrt 22.03.4. When I installed it, I replaced "wpad-basic-wolfssl" by "wpad-openssl" because I wanted to use WPA3.

I want to upgrade to OpenWrt 23.05.2. Should I replace "wpad-basic-mbedtls" by "wpad-openssl"?

When I look at the package description it says "OpenWrt release: OpenWrt-22.03.0", so I guess it is not compatible with 23.05.2 ?

But in that case, how can I have WPA3?

Thanks!

WPA3 is supported by default, so from that angle you do not need to change anything, it will work with the vanilla images as-is.

If you use the openssl, wolfssl or mbedtls (default) packages is up to you, either will work (feature sets and performance differ slightly, but all of them allow using WPA3SAE).
