WPA3 acting up

Hello, lovely PEEPS around the globe I need some suggestions here;
So I have Linksys WRT3200ACM router. I made some changes to 5ghz (radio0)due to unstable& dropping connection during the online games. once I made these new changes the wifi for 5ghz is playing up meaning its not letting me authenticate even if it lets me connect after a couple of seconds it drops the connection and it dosnt let me connect again. all my devices support WP3 Encryption.
Firmware Version 23.05.5

root@OpenWrt:~# uci show wireless
wireless.radio0=wifi-device
wireless.radio0.type='mac80211'
wireless.radio0. transmit power driver default
wireless.radio0.path='soc/soc:pcie/pci0000:00/0000:00:01.0/0000:01:00.0'
wireless.radio0.channel='48'
wireless.radio0.band='5g'
wireless.radio0.htmode='VHT40'
wireless.radio0.country='GB'
wireless.radio0.cell_density='0'
wireless.radio0.beacon_int='200'
wireless.default_radio0=wifi-iface
wireless.default_radio0.device='radio0'
wireless.default_radio0.network='lan'
wireless.default_radio0.mode='ap'
wireless.default_radio0.ssid='OpenWrt5'
wireless.default_radio0.encryption='sae'
wireless.default_radio0.macaddr='*****'
wireless.default_radio0.key='
'
wireless.default_radio0.dtim_period='1'

changes made
wireless.radio0.channel='40'
wireless.radio0.htmode='VHT80'
wireless.radio0.beacon_int='200'
wireless.default_radio0.dtim_period='1'
wireless.default_radio0.encryption='sae-mixed' # Enable WPA3]

these were the config before and it was working fine.

changes I made were:
Mode AP
Channel to 149Mhz
and width to 80mhz
encryption wpa2-PSK
DTIM interval 2
Beacon Interval to 100

If i apply this config to radio 1 which is 2.4ghz it doesn't work on that either.
Any suggestion

Use auto channel and eother wpa2 or wpa3 not mixed.

sure thing let me try but most likely it won't let me connect just to let you know I have tried different channels.

You have to re-cr#ate connection when moving away from wpa3 due to downgrade protections.

Sure, the SSID shows in devices but when I entered the wifi credential it failed. this happens to multiple devices not just one.

Change name to something less generic, maybe neighbor across the street got openwrt and dlink saved in old iot teapot.

Not a problem i will name BRADA123444 :wink: :wink:

mwlwifi and WPA3 is a hard match, the driver is already very temperamental without WPA3.

So what do you recommend its best to sick with WPA2 in this case then.

Since you measured it to be better...
