It seems that the latest firmware from Cudy does not offer the user wpa2-psk aes. I see the option for wpa2-psk but when I connect to the router with an IPad, it complains about weak security and informs me the router is using TKIP, not AES.
I'm thinking to move to OpenWRT. If I do that, will I be able to use AES (or even WPA3)? I ask because I'm not sure if the limitation comes from the hardware or just what Cudy has done in the software. Presumably OpenWRT will support AES if at all possible.
