Hi Experts,
I am using Xiaomi Mini Router with Latest LEDE firmware 17.01.1
I would like to know is it possible to do authentication on the router itself.
I have installed WPAD and i can see WPA2 Enterprise, but is there a way to create user account on the router itself. ?
I don't want to use LDAP/AD server as it will be for home usage only.
Any pointers will be much appreciated.
Am a newbie to this
Thanks.
Look into using FreeRADIUS. I dont know of a specific LEDE user guide but the internet is loaded with generic Linux + WPA2 Enterprise + FreeRADIUS instructions. Maybe the OpenWRT Wiki has instructions?
Good luck, let us know how everything works out.
I found a guide that uses Linux LEDE to setup a WPA2 enterprise configuration,
I had to change some of the config to make it work, but the guide was very good to had an idea on how to do it.
I switched back to WPA2 personal since I found that is more secure
