Is wolfssl included in official release because it is smaller? I have plenty of room in my flash to use a different option like openssl but is it really any better? Is there a benchmark that shows which of the packages and libs are better performing or are there security reasons to pick wolfssl or to openssl?
Yes, roundabout 500 KB vs almost 1 MB - for 8 MB flash devices (minimum system requirements) that is a lot.
