I’ve recently bought a flint 2 and installed Openwrt I’m more than happy apart from the wireless range is no where near as strong as with the stock firmware, Is there anything I can do to increase it?
Thanks

You have to set up wifi country code on all radio devices in Luci/Network/Wireless , it is on upper side when editing access point.
Also upgrade to at least 23.05.5 (certainly there is a problem with wifi in 23.05.4)
I’ve already tried that option think the default was 00 (world wide) country code, I changed it to GB but unfortunately made no difference, I’m back on the stock firmware until the issues gets fixed, However when I’ve got time I’ll try an alternative flversion of Openwrt and see how it compares
EDIT: I was already on the latest Openwrt build 23.05.5 when the wireless range was buggy
Sounds anecdotal without giving any points of reference.
