WireGuard on dir-878

Hello, i wanted to make a vpn server out of my d-link dir-878 with openwrt, at first i was doing a ikev2/ipsec going with official documentation, it didn't work but I am not too advanced, so i thought it was not for me, so i tried l2tp/ipsec, it did not work either, so for the same reason i switched to wireguad, because it was advertised to me as the easiest to setup. I was going with this guide, it's polish, and so am I. But even when patiently going through the guide, it didn't work.
( I have to note that the dir-878 is not the edge device, but I've opened port 55055 on the edge router, and even setup a DMZ)

Check out either of these:
https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/services/vpn/wireguard/server

https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/services/vpn/wireguard/road-warrior

Just a note this device has only 128M or ram
while testing, turn Wi-Fi off
it would not surprise me to not have enough to do both Wi-Fi bands and VPN

128 MB RAM is plenty for WG and dual band wifi.

sorry for long no replying but i kept trying these, and else but it also didn't work, finally gave up and setup a ovpn server, it's not working well, just 20mbps but it's enough for me and, thanks but im a little to dumb to do this or something

MT7621AT

24.10 supports crypto accelerator in this SoC, which means some ipsec and cryptsetup gets some speedup.
