Yeah, me from the Openvpn wont start. Today is D-day for this experiment, not finished by this evening, I'm done. Been years since I've has a Linux issue this time consuming. I removed all OpenVPN install, downloaded the required Wireguard stuff. I'm at this:
In the General Settings tab, click on the Load configuration... button, paste the contents of the WireGuard config file from step 1 and click on the Import settings button.
When I copy/paste the vpn zip file which includes a generated key, all that shows up is a link to the page from my vpn. I thought maybe the key was not included so I clicked "generate keys" in the General tab. Stuck there:(
"Private key missing or invalid". Tried the download 3 different time with new keys.
I did unzip the file, thanks. I'm getting a corrupt files warning when I open the zip file. I've created 3 different keys and the same every time. I've emailed my vpn and they are usually quick to respond. I've cleared out the old interface and waiting to get what I assume is a "good key".
Not sure if the issue is my vpn, always had good technical support until now, so they are gone, I've wasted 30+hours on this and still no OpenWRT. I appreciate all the help but I'm gone and will delete my account. Thanks all who helped.
If you unzip the configuration file then you should have on or more files usually ending with .conf but that does not matter as it are just text files which can be viewed with any text editor.
