Im kinda new to this, but do i understand it correctly if latest stable release of openwrt 19.07.3 with kernel 4.14.180 now has in-kernel wireguard support? Or is it still userspace?

Wireguard on OpenWrt has always been a native kernel module.
How is that possible when it wasnt added into kernel until 5.6

i was looking at https://www.wireguard.com/build-status/ for backported kernels, and i didnt see 4.14.180 which is the kernel in the latest stable openwrt version, so i wasnt sure
