i have 2 routers ,home modem router zte connected to tl-mr3220 though wan blue port , i wanna configure wireguard vpn on openwrt , and use this mr3220 to be vpn server , as normal before configure vpn , i cam open internet through port from this mr3220 , but when configure wireguard , handshake say never
This device doesn’t have the necessary resources to run wireguard. It only has 4MB flash and 32MB RAM which limits it severely. At best, it can run 19.07 which has been eol and unsupported for half a decade. And with that, wg won’t even fit.
You need newer hardware to achieve your goals.
I added usb as extroot , i have installed luci web interface on it , then wireguard package , i already configured wireguard on it , but it doesn't connect , handshake say never , i mean is this because H.W or i miss something on both routers that make conflict ?!
With only 32MB RAM, you’ll likely hit OOM errors. Beyond that, 19.07 is very old and has many unpatched security vulnerabilities. You shouldn’t be using this device, even with extroot, as it is unsafe.
