Wireguard and security

Hi,

Is there a security mechanism in place to protect WireGuard against brute-force attacks?
I'm considering using CrowdSec on my OpenWRT router specifically for this purpose.
However, I'm not sure where to find WireGuard logs that could be parsed by CrowdSec.
Could you point me in the right direction?

Is this a real threat? Wireguard is pretty stealth, it's not obvious that it's running, or which port it is using, and it is not trivial to brute force...

WireGuard is not a chatty protocol
If the key is wrong wireguard will not react at all
