Windows internet connection oddity

I connect to a "neighborhood" hotspot using Windows wifi. I just installed 19.07.5 on an rPi 3b and when I connect the ethernet to the laptop the Windows wifi loses internet access. When I disconnect the ethernet the wifi internet instantly starts working again.

I don't recall having this issue the last time I installed openwrt and connected using ethernet, but I could be mistaken.

You can try to work around the problem by changing the LAN subnet:
https://openwrt.org/faq/change_lan_ip

If that doesn't help, then the issue is most likely Windows-specific and not actually related to OpenWrt.
You should play with Windows routing metric, gateway priorities and DNS settings to resolve it.
