So I have the latest version of the openwrt firmware and I was able to get it in a repeater state. However i can only connect wifi devices to it. If I plug a ethernet cable in the back it can't connect to the internet. But the internet works fine with wifi, but ethernet has no internet connection . Is there something that im missing? And was wondering if someone can help me?
Without knowing the result of your configuration, it is difficult to say.
Posting your /etc/confog/network and /etc/config/firewall (with any sensitive information removed) as preformatted text would be very helpful. The output of ip link and ip addr may provide some insight as well.

Um how exactly do I post this information? Are you able to give me a step by step guide so i could post these?
Login to the device by SSH and use the command cat followed by the paths that jeff mentioned. The two ip commands don't need the cat, type them directly.

What make/model router?
Check your network physical settings tabs. The ethernet should be in the lan bridge with the wifi AP. The only thing in the wan should be the wifi station that is getting the Internet from the other network.
