Wifi odd behavior on TP-Link Archer C6 V3.0

Hello all!

I am using OpenWrt 22.03.0-rc5 on a TP-Link Archer C6 V3.0.

However, the cell phones at home can't connect to the Wifi, only the laptops. We have other two devices (a TP-Link Archer C6 V2.0, and a TP-Link Archer C60 V3.0) with the very same OpenWRT release, and they are working smoothly.

I have tried the very same Wifi configuration, changed channels, criptography, frequencies on the C6 V3.0, but no success.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

Does it affect both 2.4 and 5 GHz ?

Your C6 v2 and C60 v3 use a different Qualcomm based SoC.

fwiw, 21.02.x for the A6 v3 will work on your C6 v3. Hardware is identical.

Sorry to read about your cell phones. There are multiple possibilities. Please post images of your cell phone connection attempts and your setup details. Is it possible for your cell to connect this network without password? I have experienced this problem with Apple iPhone.

Hello guys!

Thank you for your reply.

I have performed a reset o the Router, and I reconfigured the Wifi.

Everything is working now, after I also disabled the Access Control on my main router.

Best regards,

Marcio
