after firmware update I can't start wifi on my tp link archer c2 v1.

Is everything else working OK? What version do you have before? And which image did you use to upgrade?
I am not sure what do you mean. How did you do that?
To upgrade, you should download the sysupgrade image for your router and use to to upgrade.
Are you sure you are actually running 19.07.5?

Yesterday i finally managed to install OpenWRT on my Archer C2 (i had a lot of TFTP issues before).
Everything is working fine so far, except for the 2.4 ghz Wifi which does not turn on.
5 ghz is working well, but the 2.4 ghz Radio always shows channel 0 when i leave it on auto and thus is not visible on any wifi scanner app that i tried:
When i try to specify the channel explicitly (which I would rather not do) the radio stays inactive:
Any ideas what i can do here? Do you need additional logs?
I am also on OpenWRT 19.7.5

Before going any further, try to set a valid channel (1, 6, 11) explicitly. ACS is not supported by all drivers properly, as a result it often chooses the first legal channel (1 or 36) instead of the best one - or might lead to other subtle issues.
Sorry I didn't see your response, something was wrong with my notification settings.
I've just tried all the 3 channels that you noted, but it did not help.
Even after restarting the radio the status message stayed at "Device is not active".
One thing i noticed is that I am still able to perform a scan with the 2.4 ghz radio and see all the other 2.4 ghz wifi networks. So it seems like at least something of this radio still works.
