Wifi card 5GHz?

I don 't know if my intel network card supports intel ac 3168 5ghz in AP mode or not. It seems to say that it supports, but for some reason only 2.4ghz works for distribution. Look, please. If it does not support - tell us which wifi card to take to support 5ghz?

It does not (which isn't surprising, none of Intel's wireless chipsets do), "no IR" means that the card isn't allowed to Initiate Radiation on these channels - this precludes AP usage (it can act as a STA, meaning that it relies on an external AP to connect to and to deal with DFS and related regulatory requirements and doesn't have to do this on its own).

Okay, so it 's not fate. Would you like to advise which card to take to support ac 5ghz in AP mode?

Atheros (ath9k/ ath10k based) or Mediatek (mt76 based) are effectively the only options.
