I managed to get my Meraki MR42 up and running on OpenWRT, but my net work performance is bad and the wifi is extremely unstable.
I had the device configured as a router, connected directly to my cable modem. I have XFINITY internet 500/100.
one thing to note is that for some reason I was not able to install version 23.05.4
I am running OpenWrt SNAPSHOT r27243-dd1bfbe971 / LuCI Master 24.212.79282~65b8002.
Add two links to reports via:
https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat
- connected to router LAN port
- connected via WIFI
- (optionally) connected directly to provider's port
