I have one question, does WiFi ac (5GHz) in Netgear R6220 work on some version of drivers, at the same time as a client and as a master (i.e. as a 5GHz repeater)? WiFi N (2.4GHz) works without problems at one time as a client and master, and WiFi ac stops working at this setting. What's experience do you have in this matter?
Are you sure it's not working?
Probably you have to wait some time for DFS scan to complete after applying some new settings...?
Please provide a log after you applied new settings to you 5 G wifi.
run iw list
and watch for something like that:
valid interface combinations:
* #{ IBSS } <= 1, #{ managed, AP, mesh point } <= 4,
total <= 4, #channels <= 1, STA/AP BI must match

According to your output it should work but without log no one can tell you why you are facing issues with your setup!
My fault, I broken configuration. Client and master works perfectly in AC standard.
