Wi-Fi connection issue on dumb AP

Hi everyone.
I need help with troubleshooting the cause of the wi-fi device disconnects on my dumb AP.

Setup:
Fermare: OpenWRT OpenWrt 21.02.3
Gateway: WRT 1900 AC
Dumb AC: WRT 1900ACS

GW and Dumb AP hard-wired connected trough HP switch

Gateway setup.
Multiple VLANs.
DHCP provided by Windows 2019
Wi-Fi is stable when connected to any Wi-fi
Mode AC - Channel 161 - Width 80Mhz - Maximum transmit power driver default - Current power: 30 dBm

Extender setup: (dumb AP)
Hardwired to HP switch through WAN port (VLAN Trunk)
When connecting to extender Fi-Fi while in the same room connection drops a lot
will display connecting > connected then a few seconds later drops
sometimes stay connected for hours.
I can't confirm if the laptop is affected

when stepping out to the patio (10ft away) unable to connect to the same AP
No Firewall rules

Wi-FI
Mode AC - Channel 161 - Width 80Mhz - Maximum transmit power driver default - Current power: 30 dBm

I can not determine why wi-fi dropping mobile clients

Help will be appriciated

You should be using non-overlapping channels. Try changing to a low channel and test again.
