why openwrt client wifi mode not pop up "wrong password" if wrong password entered (when associcate? thx
Because there's no API providing that information.
but what happen when bad password when authorizing in the dmesg?
Nothing, the wireless interface simply won't associate.
So when this happen can there be a pop up? I see in the luci it “connects” then disconnects.. is so confusing for newbie user like me. Thx
sure, you only need to create the API @jow just said was missing.
This is normal on many devices when entering the wrong passphrase. Can you provide an example of a device that knows and informs the user that a wrong password has been entered?
TBH, I'm confused how a client using wrong passphrase would know it's wrong - instead of a MAC block, admin disconnect, etc.
The typo I thought is the bad signal or error in firmware
I'm unsure of what your statement means. Please clarify by providing more detail.
