Thanks to @elder_tinkerer in another thread I learned I can have the firmware selector tool build a custom image, adding specific packages. It looks straight forward just add additional package names to the "Installed Packages" section and request a build.
As I was looking at the system I realized that "luci" is already listed as an installed package for SNAPSHOT releases. How is that accurate? All of the pre-built SNAPSHOT releases I have downloaded so far do not include the luci package.
Would someone be able to explain why luci is listed as an installed package when it is not or if it is installed why do I need to install it again via the cli after installing a SNAPSOT release?
