is it just me, or are things getting really draconian around here. Cannot even talk about things that are closed source, nor the reasons that SW bits cannot be incorporated into OpenWrt. Close that thread, you are out of here.
The issue is not the conversation itself. The problem is that the code and firmware blobs referenced by the op of that thread are not fully open source and cannot be legally included in OpenWrt. The discussion in the abstract is okay (although it will not change anything), but the posting of what may not be legally open sourced code/firmware blobs must be avoided. That is why the thread was closed.
Bro has his own ways with computers and drivers.
