Which "this" ?
You might end up with an unsupported AX3000T.
W6x needs serial access.
So does the MR80x, and only v3 is supported.
I wouldn't buy any of them.
Do you have asus in your place? 150 bucks is a lot, i'd aim for tuf-ax6000 or 4200 (happy customer of later)
Or if you have gl.inet then flint2
AX3000 without support. Why?
W6X, what is serial access? Is it difficult to do?
MR80x, will V4 arrive?
These are my best options. Unless I want to pay $300 for an imported router.
I don't have any of those. And if I were to import them, it would cost over $300.
There is a new qualcomm with little memory revision of same brand name that can not be supported with wifi..
5$ adapter + maybe solder wires to pcb
That means new hardware, see point 1....
Go to the store and see the boxes to make sure they are not flipping revisions....
I'm asking if version V4 will be supported in OpenWRT?
And of the three, which would you recommend?
Unless you known the hw it uses, your guess is as good as ours.
I would recommend AX3000T original version https://openwrt.org/inbox/toh/xiaomi/ax3000t as it has option to install open u-boot bootloader which means recovery system is independent from the running system, if you mess up sysupgrade you have good version for recovery.
Note that antennas bend only 90 degrees.... No wall mount, but does gigabit just fine.
How do I install OpenWRT on the MR80x V3?
Also with serial cable https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/18181
I was researching prices and the MR80x V3 is half the price of the Predator W6x and the AX3000T.
1 - The W6x has much better hardware, will another installation method emerge for it?
2 - What would be your recommendation?
If you shared your country maybe we can click through stores.
AX3000T V1 (i tried to get v2 for self torture purposes) costed €49.99 last summer. Much faster than TL-WR1043NDV2 whose capacitors took the sun stroke according to relatives countryside.
Are you needy?
In Brazil, the Acer costs $72, the AX3000T also costs $72, and the MR80x costs $38.
Not many good things found in stores.
What i see is generally 2x price of abroad.
I think your english just b0rked.
W6x is supposed to be cheap in BR, when bought directly from Acer.
Probably ttl adapter is more expensive than the router though....
