I change my ISP quite regularly and as a result have acquired quite a few modems so I'd like to try and install OpenWrt on one (or maybe all) of them.
My recent ones are an EE BrightBox, a ZYXEL from the Post Office and something from TALKTALK which I can't identify, although I've just pulled off a secret plate which reveals that the Device Version id DG8041W-2 T5. This one caught my eye since it has a WAN and four LAN ports so would make a better router.
Does anyone know what make this really is and whether OpenWrt can be installed on it?
