Which image to flash for Archer A5 AC1200 V 4.2(EU)?

Is there an image for this? Any help is appreciated.

Whats archer?

It's a brand of routers released by TP-Link.

It is not supported, for documentation you may try to determine flash size (aka mtd) , SoC type and RAM size (first lines of boot log).
I.e: enable Debug / Maximum log level(s) in web UI
Then power router off and power it on, then find where logs are displayed in web ui , copy that to text editor and try to figure out parameters. Given V5 is 8/64 unlikely yours is bigger and will never get supported.

The C50 v5 is same as A5 v5 and there is support for v4 C50. So I was thinking that the same applies to v4 as well and I might be able to use C50 v4 for my A5 v4. Also both are AC1200 and seem to be the same routers. Is there a way to confirm this?

About half of tplinks produce in low end for past decade are in same pearly pancake case. Does not mean they all are same.
Please document hardware (partition map matches -> likely very similar device)
Please post a link where you would download firmware update for your router, have to check it is full flash or safeloader style.

Here it is: https://www.tp-link.com/in/support/download/archer-a5/v4/#Firmware

Update: I flashed OpenWrt after confirming that the firmwares of both the models are identical and it works.

Can you drop a line in documentation section regarding the finding, so that somebody adds needed bits over time (or even make PR on github with a firmware with a proper device name in first page)
