I've just acquired a GL-ARM300M and it's on this version of OpenWRT based on the LUCI interface overview: OpenWrt 22.03.4 r20123-38ccc47687
I've been looking at the documentation regarding PBR and it's slightly confusing.
Some documentation refers to 22.03 needing the luci-app-pbr and standard pbr, other documentation suggests installing pbr-iptables.
Could someone clarify this for me please?
Luci* are user interface components, not the actual functionality.
It'll probably install at least two packages.
if you install luci-app-pbr it installs at the same time pbr (certainly) with your preferred language option . you start pbr in luci and observe if the service gateways do not present a default.
to be certain of absence of anomalies, you pass in mod SSH and type "service pbr restart". green checkmarks appear and red checkmarks if there are defects.After the appropriate corrections everything must be green. enjoy it!
Couldn’t get it working with either version.
Green checkmarks present.
In the end I updated the router to the latest firmware. Worked like a charm once the manufacturer’s wrapper UI was gone.
