Where are the download Sha files

I have been running LEDE 17 for a year or so ,I thought I would upgrade to OpenWrt 18 downloaded the sysupgrade file and looked for Sha file to confirm the integrity but can't find it. It seems to be far harder than it needs to be.I tried the script unfortunately it doesn't know whether it is Download.sh or download.sh but either way the sysupgrade target file gives an error " the file has no length" any ideas.

  • Please describe what you mean by "sha file"?
  • Are you trying to get the sha256sum of the file you downloaded, in order to verify before flashing it?
  • What script?

Thanks, that's them but why can't the instructions say you will find the Sha files here https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/18.06.1/targets/ instead of what it says here https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-quick-start/verify_firmware_checksum. Maybe I was just being a bit thick thanks again.
