When do ipv4 routes get shown with (brackets) around the interface name?

I am not clear what the brackets around (wg0) is trying to tell me. Is it because I am trying source address routing?

It happens when LuCI cannot figure out the logical OpenWrt interface name for the route, it will display the Linux network device name in brackets instead, then.

Its just a cosmetic detail you can ignore.
