What's with the 32-bit restriction with IPv6-Suffix for static leases?

Although I'm fine with ::dead:beef for now, I really want ::dead:beef:cafe on my /64 subnet. To me, it would make sense I should be able to set all 64. The same logic applies if my subnet was a /60, then I'd have all 68 bits to set.

Is this an odhcpd bug or feature?

How does setting IPv6-Suffix (hex) works? - #3 by jow

Yup, I found a bug that others have found, too, dating back to 2014(!)

I wanted the 64bit support too but no work has been done since 2014, :disappointed:

I forked odhcpd and I'll give it a try. I can't promise anything as I haven't coded in C for years
