What's up with how cheap high spec OpenWRT routers are on Ebay that nobody wants?

As an example just got the Zyxel EX5601 (2Ghz MT7986A, 512MB Flash and 1GB RAM also with 2 x 2.5 Gbps ports for $60 total). I've also seen one sell for $32 2 weeks prior.

Am I missing something here? Why is nobody bidding on stuff like this?

eBay is big, so is the world, which eBay ?

I just don't think it's a very common device, is all.

Yeah I get that but then I type in stuff like the GL-MT6000 and people are willingly paying $130+ for that (basically just over double for the same spec router and ports besides a flash increase which being honest 512 MB is enough anyway).

Are people really this lazy and uninformed to just do some simple searching?

Q.E.D.?

I've not seen any overwhelming issues with the device; but please, feel free to, search the forum.

I just checked au/us/uk ebay there's no deals there to be found on this one, congrats to people that got one, but I'd say that's why there's no buzz
As an Australian, Zyxel is just one of those brands you're hardly ever going to see.

DL-WRX36 $60 on Amazon (US). Is this still a model worth buying?

There are several internet providers in Europe who deliver the ZyXEL EX5601-T1 with a fibre subscription. Although the client must send it back when the subscription stops, a lot of users sell them on auction sites.

searching for "Zyxel EX5601" at Google, using site:nl / it / fr / de / etc as param, generates most hits for .it, I guess that's where it's used the most ...

is EX5601-T1 same as the T0, which is the one officially supported ?
answering my own question, yes it appears to be supported, hw is slightly different though, T0 have a SFP+.
