What's going on with the Openwrt Two will there be pre-orders

Is there any place to get more information on this product or any way to be notified when it's on pre-order or available to order

I think it'll be very hard to miss, here at the forum.

@hauke referenced the OpenWrt Two in the May 2025 ADM mailing list here: https://lists.openwrt.org/pipermail/openwrt-adm/2025-May/002739.html

Beyond this a have not seen any further reference to the OpenWrt Two Project since the vote.

yeah i guess i will keep checking back here then. GL.iNet has a mailing list i am on that also but they cant say if the openwrt two will be on there.
its here is any one is wondering https://www.gl-inet.com/glinetconnect/#form

being named "OpenWrt Two" makes it a bit hard to google but it looks like its not just i suck at using google. it sounds like odds are not good that it will be out anytime soon drat sounded perfect for me thank you for the link tho

So, I ended up reading about OpenWrt TWO on Brave AI. There are couple of older articles, but wierdly nothing written on this site.

Is the TWO project abandoned, or perhaps delayed bc of the political GUFF w international / electronic trade these days?

I was also gonna ask about the TWO project here, vs the Banana Pi, or the NanoPi R6S. Has the OpenWrt devs/community realised that there is now an abundance of more/less similar marketed hardware, so the TWO hardware no longer required?

( Banana Pi BPI-R4 Pro Wifi7 Router board with Mediatek MT7988A, 8G RAM 8G eMMC, 4x2.5G and 2x10G network port )

Wifi7 doesn't work fully yet + filogic 880 is expensive.

It makes no sense to rush out a $300 router that doesn't work. Realistically, wifi7 won't be stable until 2H2026, so expect "TWO" to release right before that.

Clippy should deliver on its promises, no contractual obligation on anyone else.

When searching for any news about the openwrt two router, a link to this thread is the only current reference apparently.

I'm curious about any news regarding the new hardware but more importantly anyone currently searching for this topic will get no information other then the few hints here.

Perhaps anyone who knows the current state of the project could make an official announcement or at least link to a status page or something. Thank you

There will be an official announcement, once there is something to announce - until then, there isn't anything to report. Don't bet on the future, make your choice between options that are already fully supported, which you can get from the shelves right now and for which features and kinks are well known, instead of castles in the sky or the promise of chicken.
