I try to implement snort on OpenWRT, but It does not work good enough. What are the perfect IPS for OpenWRT that all of you guys recommend? or was ever implement and you see it work well.

Even IDS is folly on a device with typically well under 512 MB of RAM and a SoC that struggles just to be able to route packets at the ISP rate.
